iPhone 3GS re-orient maps to your current direction

A new and documented feature that apple added with the iPhone 3GS is the compass, something that is also documented but that i missed is that in Maps (Google Maps) on the iPhone if you tap your current location and then tap it again the Map will re-orient to the direction you are facing and you’ll see a ‘headlight’ type direction coming out of the blue dot (i’ve named it blue).  This is pretty awesome and what i was wanting to see from the compass.

Compass + maps = gps in a new way

Thanks again apple.
